The Experience

We need a team of volunteers to bring life and joy to the hostel! It's an old building so it needs a good clean. Our goal is to make it the best hostel ever. Creative, ecological, clean and friendly. We love hosting and collaborating with volunteers who thrive on hospitality. Making our place great needs the imagination and energy of a wide range of people. We want to share our project with you.

The hostel is well located, many volunteers at the same time, you will make good friends! The work is very quiet, 18 hours a week a true volunteer! The city is young and busy!

What can i say? the hostel stands out as one of the most enriching environments I could have while traveling. The job is to connect with people every day, people who carry millions of stories, showing glimpses of a world you're slowly deciphering. Kate and Aris have built this place into a little home, deeply involved in the hostel's activities. Even with clear tasks, you never feel alone, surrounded by people willing to help. The sense of community, comfort, and unique rhythm make it the best volunteer experience I've had, a place I'd return to as a volunteer or guest. A safe place 💖

Could say that it was one of the best hostels I stayed as a volunteer. here I felt at home, and each person here was very special with me, I will keep everything with great care, Aris and Kate were incredible, always attentive to any eventuality, I can say that I want to return, and the activities were not difficult and also the staff was always willing to help, and also the flexibility if you wanted to do something just warn with precedents.

My experience at the hostel Backpacker was absolutely amazing! This hostel truly feels like a home away from home. The working hours are well-structured and respected, and communication with the team is excellent. A heartfelt thank you to Kate and Aris for being such wonderful hosts and to Mari for being an outstanding manager. This is a place where you can not only practice your English but also enjoy hikes, participate in fun activities at the hostel, and even learn some salsa! Overall, I would highly recommend this place. I'd love to come back someday—thank you so much for everything!

It's home away from home. The owners, Aris and Kate, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They create such an engaging environment for travelers to thrive in. It's difficult to get bored with weekly outings and celebrations, both of which volunteers are highly encouraged to participate in. The work is easily manageable and leaves a significant amount of free time to explore the hostel and take short trips. It's the perfect position for those seeking laughter, lifetime friendships, and endless opportunities to bond with other travelers. Thank you to the staff and volunteers for all amazing memories!
