Karen was an incredible host who was so inspiring, friendly and kind. It was a great 6 weeks where I got to really immerse myself in the local community and discover so many gorgeous parts of the West Coast and Highlands. Karen was like a best friend to me and we got to do so many lovely day trips together, cook and groove to amazing tunes, to working together to update her website and market her amazing art! I will never forget my time here at the home, it was truly special and I will miss Karen and the community dearly - thank you so much again for everything Karen ❤️ Fip Mondè😉🫶🏼

A one-of-a-kind host, Karen is dynamic and intuitive as a mentor. Her ingenuity and kindness are boundless, inspiring and motivating you to connect to yourself through both creative and professional pursuits. Tarbert is a wonderful little community in the Argyll region of Scotland, from whence there are endless opportunities for volunteers to explore the hidden gems of the western coast. Karen's home exudes a perfect balance of peace and possibility in the breathtaking natural wild of Kintyre — I am truly grateful to have had the privilege of staying with her and would return in a heartbeat!
