The Experience

The main goal is to keep the animals safe, fed, water fresh, the garden weeded and the grass mowed, chores done every day in the morning and in the evening, it shouldn't take you more than 2 hours, max 4 hours some days and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy! you can hike and forage for berries and harvest vegetables and fruits in the garden that you can add to your meals. There are plenty of fun things to do.

I have a good time with the animal in the farm and also with the other volunteer made my experience much better. Rocio, is a great person u will love to meet her, it's feel like a grandma, very nice absolutely.

I really enjoyed my stay at the farm. I only stayed for a week but I felt really welcome and got to learn a lot about the farm and the animals. The work load was fair and I had good help learning all the tasks. There is also more than enough food available to cook your own meals. They also have the cutest dogs and cat who will go on walks with you so if you love animals this is definitely the right place for you :)

Fantastic experience here which absolutely exceeded my expectations. Quiet place with beautiful view makes me feel like staying in a paradise. Playing with dogs and cats, feeding chickens and goats and donkeys, learning about grass cutting or wood chipping are totally new experiences for me, but the host Rocio were so patient to teach me everything and every detail about it. I would definitely recommend it!

My experience with Rocio was an interesting one. There was hard work in the sun, and I enjoyed the challenge, but there were some things that made me reduce my ratings. For one, Rocio was consistently unappreciative and at times even condescending, despite the fact it seemed I was working the hardest out of anyone. In fact Rocio openly admitted I was being held to a different standard than the other volunteers. Living conditions could be better. Rocio will only provide vegetarian food. Which is okay but worth noting. Overall it was okay but could be better.

I had a good time! The housing situation is great and the property is really nice. Rocio is very kind and provided so much for us. The other people staying there were really nice as well. The garden needs daily weeding and there are other projects you are welcome to work on if you are feeling up for it. Make sure to ask questions and make sure you have all the data about how things work here and what needs to be done for any task.
