The Experience

Hello! I am looking for some independent workers who are not afraid of hard work or getting a little dirty to help in my garden. Due to the location of my garden, I am unable to get heavy machine inside, so everything has to be done by hand. I am looking for an individual(s) to help lower the ground level by moving soil from one location to another, trimming trees, cutting wood, and other odd garden jobs.

I had a lovely time staying with Amanda! I would absolutely recommend the experience for other solo female travelers (or anyone). The work was fulfilling to complete, and Amanda was very flexible with the hours/ scheduling. During my stay, I worked mostly on restoration in the house and garden, and found it so interesting to see the historical details! The accommodation was private and comfortable. The area is wonderful for hiking and outdoor activities, and the national park is incredibly scenic. There are activities in the town as well, and the locals are very kind and welcoming.

Volunteering with Amanda was the perfect first Worldpacking experience. I learned and practiced so many skills during the month, and thoroughly enjoyed helping her renovate her beautiful home. She was incredibly lenient and flexible, and not to mention and amazing baker. She trusted your independence with tasks but was always around to help if needed. I would definitely recommend this stay!

This was our first volunteering experience, and it couldn't have been better. Amanda was super kind and made us feel at home. The tasks were simple and the schedule was flexible. She was always available to answer any questions or assist with anything we needed. The house was very comfortable, and we had a private room. There were plenty of nearby places to visit during our free time. we improve our english and it was a good opportunity for us We will truly miss our talkings, the fire pit in the garden and of course,this wonderful family. We hope to have the opportunity to return someday.🥰
